When I first moved to Texas I loved squirrels. We don’t have squirrels in Puerto Rico so when I saw them all around I was mesmerized by their cuteness. That all changed when I got my first bird feeder. They are cute until they scare away birds, knock down the bird feeder, eat all the bird seeds, and taunt the dogs. Squirrels have turned into the vain of my existence, the dogs and I battle them every day in our attempt to save some seeds for the birds.
