Artist Statement:
I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. From disposable cameras to my first digital camera in college to my first 35mm in my 30s, my motto is, “No one else is where you are in this moment in time so no one can capture what you can capture.” I love taking pictures of nature but also of unusual things like feet at the beach.

Artist Bio: Lynette was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She started taking pictures as a child. She has played around with photography ever since. In 2006 she moved to Texas, followed by a move to Houston in 2008. She is a former elementary school teacher. She has been the resident family historian due to her passion and love of photography. In 2017 she received her first 35mm digital camera and has been pursuing photography as a passion ever since. She has taken photography, drawing and painting classes at Glassell School of Art.
